SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly received trade inquiries for wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who has formally requested to be moved, according to multiple sources.
Aiyuk and the 49ers have been unable to reach an agreement on a new contract, and the receiver is reportedly more likely to be traded than signed to an extension, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Several teams have contacted the 49ers to gauge their interest in a potential trade for Aiyuk, but no deals have been reached as of yet. The 49ers are reportedly not planning to honor Aiyuk's trade request at this time.
Aiyuk has been with the 49ers since they selected him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has posted 1,590 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in his three seasons in San Francisco.
